Gjøvik is located 130 km to the north of Norway's capital Oslo, 102 km from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen.

From Trondheim/Lillehammer

Take the E6 past Lillehammer. At the Mjøsbrua (Mjøsa Bridge) roundabout take the R4 (straight across) southbound to Gjøvik.

From Oslo (Oslo S)

R4:
In the area around Oslo main bus terminal follow road signs towards the R4 and Gjøvik. Take the R4 northbound to Gjøvik.

E6 -> R33:
Follow road signs towards the E6 and Trondheim. Take the E6 northbound to Minnesund. Leave the E6 at Minnesund junction and follow road signs over the E6 and northbound on the R33 to Gjøvik.

From Oslo Airport, Gardermoen

Follow road signs towards the E6 and Trondheim. Take the first exit at the first roundabout, over the E6, sharp left at the next roundabout and northbound onto the E6. Leave the E6 at Minnesund junction and follow road signs over the E6 and northbound on the R33 to Gjøvik.
