After a long development period we were finally able to test UTV 180 this spring. It was successfully tested under tough conditions both by opening winter closed roads in the Norwegian mountains, and endurance tests in water.

The UTV 180 is the smallest of our two stage unit snow blowers. Its capacity is 1 000–1 200 tons/hour. The weight is app. 3 400 kilos.

It has a Mercedes/MTU diesel engine and both the auger and the impeller are mechanical driven. The rotating parts are secured against overload with share pins. The snow blower attachment is recommended used in combination with 10-14 tons front end loaders.

The snow blower is extremely effective for clearing drifts, widening roads as well as loading snow on to trucks in built-up areas.
