The 5th of August 2009, a contract was signed between PPL “Porty Lotnicze” Warsaw Airport and Øveraasen AS, represented by our partner in Poland Integra Technica Komunalna, for the delivery of ten Øveraasen snow clearing units. Each of the ten units consist of one EP-9 Airport snow plow, one Mercedes Benz 2041 Actros and one RS-400 Runway sweeper. Six units will be delivered in 2010 and the remaining four in 2011. By purchasing this modern high capacity equipment, Warsaw Airport will be able to reduce the time needed for snow clearing operations and keep the Airport open under the toughest winter conditions.
