RSC 400 H delivered to Dresden Airport
In October, Øveraasen AS handeled over six RSC 400 H snow clearing units to Dresden Airport.
Besides higher working speed and better air blast, the wide broom system can clean a width of 5.5 metres. Working side by side, the new sweepers will clean the 60 metre wide runway in just two passes.Previously, the old sweeper fleet had to travel the runway four times. The new sweepers will cut down the clearing time by 30 minutes.
The snow clearing team at the Airport counts 140 persons. They clean, during each snow fall, an area equal to 76 football pithces!
